Intermittent flap failure
FFS ....... I'm slowly rebuilding my car LOL
Noticed that the flaps didn't open in sport mode the other day. Car is booked in for a week on Saturday. Today it worked fine - then just on the last dual carriageway the bloody thing failed again..... So it seems to be an intermittent fault. I can just see it now - they wont diagnose the sodding thing ! Anyone else had an intermittent flap issue - I hope it gets worse |

Explain the symptoms......lack of power or noise?
Why not just take the flap off? The best way to test it, is to get someone to rev the car in neutral and see the flap open at 3.5k or whatever it is. Its most likely the potentiometer. Rags |

Yip sport on 4000rpm and the flap opens.
But as Rags said it will most likley be the potentiometer. I have had mine done under warranty. |
