Searching for my old car - M3 TBV
Funny that I used to see threads on here where people lamented selling their CSL and wished that they had not done it. Muppets, I thought.
Anyway, here I am, wishing I had not sold mine and looking for it. I will refrain from boring you all with tales of the cars I have been through in between, but would say (for the sake of causing controversy) that I had a 991.2 GT3 and flipped it because I could not get on with it, and still have an E92 M3 manual that I stripped out, caged, did the full Nitrons, CAE, Alcon, etc and which I still take to the Ring and love it on track more than the CSL. However, the real purpose of the post is just to see if anyone knows where my old car is... Gregor |

I think the original registration was PN53 WTF . It was advertised on the M3 plate in 2013 with 68K miles on the clock.

Thanks, both. I've been looking for details of the VIN but I kept all the documents with the car and didn't keep copies (doh).
Mike, does anything come up with that other registration? If it helps everyone, I sold it in February 2015 via Bartlett Automotive. |

Did Bartletts only carry out a health check? If so Pops may have bought it and then sold it on. I think he bought one with the help of Bartletts around that time

I took the M3 plate off as not a big fan of private plates, I still have it on retention.

There she is!
So good to see that you're putting it to great use and it looks like you're using as intended. (you have a DM!) |

As you will see from the history, although it is getting use this year, other years it hasn't seen much action. Trouble is I have a bunch of cars and can't drive them all, so depending on what I'm doing it might not see any action for a year. It has had more use this year than in the last 4, including 2k miles in 10 days with back to back weekends around Scotland, and a four day tour around Wales. Since I bought it it has had a new SMG pump, roof relacquered and rear seats refinished. Never known another car with such great throttle response and by a mile the most responsive brakes.
