I like the originality factor but also need to remind myself it has AP's and a rear silencer
Waiting for this lockdown to release them can go to France to work on my car

So a little Lockdown Update.

Shipped the car off to have the paintwork sorted.
Rear arches, both sills. LH wing and the front bumper.

While the car was away I sourced some good OEM Halogen headlights as the car has at some point in its life had Xenons fitted. I wanted to put these back to original for two reasons,
1 - The legal ststus in the UK states headlight wash and auto level is required for any car with Xenons. This car has neither.
2 - I may be alone here but I prefer the light from Halogens over Xenon.

I bought new OE covers and cleaned up the lights and they come up like new.

So with the car back it was a case of start fitting everything back up hopefully for the final time.
I had tried to retain / refurbish as much of the original plastics as possible and only had to replace 1 piece (splash guard behind the front bumper LHS) I did this as I have to remember the car has been done to a standard that I can still get out there and use and enjoy it. The scrapes etc are all part of the character.

A couple of days spent fitting up.

So there you have it so far.
next on the list,
Wheels to polish / seal and fit.
Halogens to be coded in
MOT
Geometry to be set
And Air-Con re gas.

Hope to have these done over the next week or two and then its ready for when the world gets some sort of normality back.

Thanks for reading

The car is looking superb, hat tipped on your work. If u do t mind me asking where did you source the headlight covers, from the dealer? Mine are pitted and marked and would like a new set.
