Wings & Wheels @ Dunsfold 23-24 August

I've never been....don't know if anyone else has?....been told it's a very popular exciting event with loads going on relating to planes & cars....suppose the clue's in the name!
Dunsfold is situated 9 miles south of Guildford, 8 miles from Godalming & 40 miles south west of London, was formerly a WW2 airfield & is now a thriving business park and aviation centre, home to BBC's Top Gear and has been the backdrop to a number of TV and Hollywood blockbusters including Casino Royale, The Da Vinci Code, Nanny McPhee, Spooks, and Come Fly With Me
The event is held over the August Bank Holiday & comprises 5 hour Airshow, 2 hour Motoring Show, Wheels Club Zone & Parade, Military Zone & Parade, Stunt & Hotrod Zone, Evening Entertainment, Hospitality, Fairground, Simulators, Meet the Pilots etc....
I've been led to believe that the Organisers are currently looking for special cars & especially groups to take part in the event & thought we would more than qualify & would be a good excuse for a gathering & showing off....you can attend for either or both days incl. on site camping via the link below & if accepted it's FREE!!!!

I'm told the application/acceptance process is a little strange in that if you hear you probably haven't got a place & if you don't hear you have been successful!
I don't know if it's my thing or not, or if anyone else would be interested, but I've just applied for the whole weekend incl. camping & see what happens
