It's not enough of a savings to justify the risk of buying used, and from an individual. The company I can get it from is reputable includes shipping, and has no tax on the item. They also include every nut and bolt down to the lower hose to the bumper.
That's one thing that scares me most, is buying from someone without any real buyer protection. At this point I'd have to justify not buying a new one. |

You have been trying to buy one of these for around 12 months now.
Have you considering exchange rate, import duty, packaging and shipping, or is 2.5k to 3k all in? Why not just get the VAC Motorsports one, it is cheaper and is built to the exact OEM dimensions. |

I missed an oem csl airbox that was for sale in the u.s. for 4,000 usd. So used ones can be had for around that price. I'm surprised however that some people are willing to pay as much as 3.5k gbp for a used one. That's the airbox and not any other parts like the lower bumper hoses. There has to be something wrong somewhere with the ability of people to do a simple search for oem bmw parts. |
