If you where stationary, I fail to see how its not his fault??? I think that a 'knock for knock' is wrong, should all be on his insurance.

I agree totally and have passed everything on to my girlfriends insurance company but spoke my insurance broker first he he said it is diffucult to prove and quite often these things go knock for knock i will be pissed right off if that happens.
i told the guy he would be better of giving me a couple hundred quid and id sort it myself but he would,nt listen to sense you just cant help some people the twat said i appeared from no where which is bollock's and only go to show he did'nt check his mirrors at all it was dark and i have xenon headlights how can you miss that? wanker! |

my mum had the same thing happened, bloke turned up at her door later in the evening and said it was his fault and wanted to pay to fix it. I told my mum to take her car to a main dealer and they gave us a bill for a new door £800.
My mum passed the bill to him to pay and he changed his mind Still ongoing 1 year later, my mums insurance has paid out to ford (no excess paid) and they will be claiming off him through the courts. His insurance sent letters though her insurance for a 50/50 split but each time I told my mum that he's not got a leg to stand on and she refused each time. |

Defo not your fault Dave!
But my dad had the same thing. Guy just reverses staright into his Range Rover. The insurance company said knock for knock so he paid for it him self! |
