Clip in harness?

Just spotted a clip in harness for sale, using the seat belt clips front and rear!
Anyone used these?

Any pictures cannot see how it would be done, for the rear remove child seat fixings and put in harness eyes but front fixing ??

The fixing points aren't 100% clear from the pictures, may give them a call and investigate! That's the website shim, looks like a good compromise

This is what I've had in mine. I would say (& schroth) you need to change csl seat because it hasn't got harness cuts outs. In back one side clips into normal seat belt receptor. For other side there is a male bit as part kit that is fitted to bottom fastener point of rear seat belt, this is then the 2nd clip in point. Rear seat belt is basically unaffected. Front is normal plug in in centre and additional point at bottom point of normal drivers belt. TUV approved with right seat.

But 3" straps and mounted like shimmy's is best imo.

Thanks bud, so im guessing Shim runs a different seat & no rear seats & normal harnesses will then fit?

Is it a complete no go with the CSL seat? & if you change the driver seat & remove passengers does this then throw a light on the dash?

Shim rec spg (large! haha), 3" full harness with back straps on iso thingy.
Me rec spg and clip in harness which is 2" straps.
Shims better imo. 50% more area to load.

imo have to have harness holes/guides, scroth agree with that whether for this type of clip in or normal harness. Will find pic guide on net.

Im running a Recaro SPA with 3" Sabelt belts fixed at the rear using harness eyes screwed into the ISOFIX bolt holes.

You can still have the rear seat fitted with this although i'm not sure how this will stand for the MOT as i beleive if it's there then you need access.

You can buy the scroth clip in harness from Simpsons. Is pretty straight forward to install. But as far as I understand won't work on the csl seat as the shoulder straps will just fall over the sides.
