Had a good day the other weekend on the Silverstone GP. Few pics form the day.

Jonny Vegas, Not sure what his bb Name was, had a SG CSL few years back.


Was a good day, bit cold bit dry til the drive home, quite a few cars fell off during the day, smart car rolled in fornt of me and Dunc, he has it of camera somewhere, was impressive for a Smart Car, managed 3 full rolls!




Few other nice Motors there, New McClaren, couple of Porker Cup Cars.

Both customer cars, I'd dearly love the top one! I was at the circuit doing the MoteC stuff on them for shakedown.

Hi,

I would say that the ''top'' one is
running a V8 as the bonnet is
raised at the rear.

Its also LHD which is slightly easier for
the S65 V8, and some prefer the LHD
seat for sighting the Apex.

Guessing the raised bonnet is to let the
extra heat out, and clear
the Airbox / Plenum.

If its running a dry sump then seems
very strange, but if its running the std
wet sump, then O/A height from
bottom of wet sump pan to top of
Airbox/ Plenum is a restricting
factor when the S65 is sat
in the E46 without the front bulkhead altered.

Not Like BMW MS then !!!!
