Im planning to go to Budapest tomorrow, i wanna leave at 18:00 from München. I have the cups on. temperature will be around -2 -3 degree. Should i forget the trip or is it enough just drive slowly? :D waiting for your kind advice thanks

Should be fine as long as you don't get any snow. Just be careful. Takes a bit of effort to get heat into the tyre in those ambients. I've driven Cups in temps like that just fine as long as precipitation is in your favour.

thanks for the quick reply. im gonna be careful sure, im planning to go in a steady 120-130 km/h should be fine no?

You'll be fine, the best thing about cups, is the extra feel you get through the steering and the chassis. The limit of grip is telegraphed much better and unless it's pissing it down, it not an issue i find

Mmm driving in the dark. Unable to see standing water How many kilometers? I know where I would stack the odds. Each to their own and I am sure you will be fine. Inshallah.

Personally, if I was you and using the car the way you're using it during the colder months, it'd be worth investing in a second set of wheels and putting some 'ordinary' Tyres on.

There's a lot of guys over here in UK and Ireland that use thier M3's all year round, fit Winter Tyres and get on great with all conditions. Isn't it some kind of law to use Winter rubber over in Germany anyway?
