Fitting Full Harness

I am trying to find the best places to fit a full harness seat belt to my CSL, on the back seat behind the driver there is a couple of brackets either side of the seat doing nothing ? can these be removed and put harness eyes in their place. Cheer

I used the clip type ends and attached to the isofix points on back seat.
You could remove these and bolt in also.

What seat are you installing?

Thank you for that never thought about just clipping direct to the brackets, Standard seat at the moment. where would you recomend fitting the sides to the seat belt too.

Depending on what seats, side mounts and harnesses you have or thinking of purchasing. Shoulder straps like said can be clipped to an eye bold with ease if you have the clip type fixing or wrapped around harness bar or similar. Waist straps can be fitted to original waist fix points with aid of the correct end fixing... and then sub-belts on a 5/6 point harness will need to be bolted through floor or side mount.

NO NO NO it's not designed for harnesses and if you crash you will die.

Fit a proper bucket seat for harnesses IMO.

Are the isofix points substantial enough for a harness? I know they are welded to the monocoque, but they don't look like they could take the force of a decelerating adult (but then again, I am a bit of a fat git).

Put the seat belt on as well!

DO NOT USE THE ISOFIX. They are for child and seat not for the full weight of a grown adult.

As mentioned earlier, use a proper bucket seat and secure on a bar. Also remember the harness belt needs to stay as horizontal as possible before it goes through the seat.

For non-caged cars, the CG-Lock on the standard belt is the best option.
