Intrak 1K2 Suspension

Hi Fellas

Got my CSL and it has Intrak 1K2 sus on it, spent the day at Simpsons last week and had it all serviced, the front pistons and tubes changed to Stainless ones.

Got back fro the ring last night and just wondered wether anyone else using it has a banging sound when going over bumps, when I was going through the carousel, it sounded like someone was banging the bottom of the car with a hammer, is this because the set up is now stiffer and working properly? The dampers were very soft before the service, so I'm wondering if any large bump in the road means they can't compress and it results in a bang coming through the whole car.

I have the set about half way so not on the stiffest setting be far.

Anyone else running it have a same noise?

Front seems to be more on the drivers side, but on the roads it sounds more even.

some bumps in the road you think it'll do it and it doesn't others it does?? Checked that nothing is loose.

my rears knock at the moment - but it seems to go away when they are reallyw arm, i think there is a litle air in the systems and need resealing according to Simpsons

might be worth a call to Ant as Simpsons have only just started refurbing Intrax dampers for intrax in UK

Just got mine back from there having had the intrax serviced and my Passenger side is doing the same thing, never used to before though. Will see if settles down, if not will call Ant.

Could be, whats yours set at?

They did mine 645mm front 640mm rear i think or the other way round maybe? from the floor to the top of the arch.
