Well they are not in surrey but Hounslow tyres are very good they will put whatever settings you want. They have a hunter machine and they know how to use it. They do alot of cars from M3 cutters.
Place looks dodgy when you go in but they are very good and reasonable. |

You could try Merrow Tyres in Farnham. Martin is the manager there, is a BMW trained technician (and highly rates the CSL) and I think they have all the equipment. He will be doing mine in the next few weeks.

Cheers ladies
i'm also thinking adjustable top mounts now to If i do i'm i right in thinking that you can get a fast road geo set up, and then grab some extra camber fairly easily trackside, and then adjust back to the roads setting for the way home?

Easier said then done, Ideally you dont want to adjust the camber without a pro camber gauge, so get it set and leave it for road & track IMO.

Get you geo set up with 2 settings, very very easy to do, setting 1, in fully on 13mm top mount bolts- track setting 2, out fully on 13mm top mount bolts- road When you pull the camber in the toe will change for track settings too. If they set up your track settings on your camber plates for track, with your 13mm topmounts fully in, when you slacken the 13mm off and pull out on strut your camber will change to near road camber, but you are not altering your adjustable top mount settings at all. If it is set up right its the easiest thing in the world to change, only tools needed are a jack and a 13mm socket and ratchet. This is also possible on standard shocks, albeit with limited adjustment. Just remove the 5mm allen key grub screw. |

i cant understand Lawsy's accent but he normally talks sense
my take on it is that after APs the best upgrade for occassional trackdays is adjustable top mounts (saves you stacks in tyre wear) and then adjustable suspension for regular trackdays (saves you more than the cost of the suspension)
