Default Mondello

Hi,

Wondering if there would be any interest
in trying to arrange a weekend centered
around the Mondello Circuit in Ireland.

I have never driven it, not sure if
many on here have ? and as its only
about 20 miles from Dublin Ferry Port.

http://www.mondello.ie/circuit_infor...lo_park_track/

Anyway, would like to hear any thoughts.

Regards,

The Gorilla.

Hi,

I know that a lot of Swedes etc organise
a Transporter for taking their Cars, en gruppe,
to the Ring etc.

Not sure if its warranted for the short hop
across the smaller pond.

Be interesting to see if enough would be
interested in doing ''Mondello''.

Regards,

The Gorilla.

The Insurance aspect would probably be a stumbling block, 6 cars at circa £25k each, and then add the Marine element, could be a problem unless we did it through a recognised Car Transporting Company, shame as a few of us have an HGV.Would also need to organise perhaps just the 1 or 2 collection /del points... then again, there is more fun to be had driving them doggies to Ireland !! Its what they were made for ! what WAS i thinking

I'd be delighted to see yee guys over, mondello is quite a technical track, very heavy on brakes.
If you are looking at booking a track day here make sure it's the INTERNATIONAL track !!!!!!!!, the short track isn't wortha shite !!
