Careful that diffuser isn't a genuine item - it's a replica. Here's what to look for in a genuine diffuser: Notice the 'indent' between the bare carbon part and the painted part of the diffuser: notice the heavy indent where the pop in clips go to secure the diffuser to the bumper: What the inside should look like: |

My pleasure - don't really want an unsuspecting forum member to get ripped off on a part made in China that costs all £50 or less to make.
Having said that, there are some really good replicas out there: for eg this one (which I have and imported privately) - notice how it's just like the one on pistonheads Helps having spare parts around to photograph Quote:
There are replicas out there that have this indent (i.e. Vorsteiner), but flip it over and you won't see the 2x2 carbon fiber inlay on the genuine thing. The real thing also weighs practically nothing and is very rigid compared to the replica which are quite flexible due to the polyester resin used (ala fiberglassing). |

I agree Mark - there is quite a price difference between the two. Although I suspect the majority of buyers really wouldn't know better without someone pointing out the finer details.

I quite like the look of all carbon, they should have done that with the production CSL as it doesn't quite stand out enough painted as standard I reckon!
