M5 taxi.

I spent the weekend at the ring, what a place, its a petrolheads heaven.Didnt have the csl unfortunatley as we were there with my dad who wasn't keen on driving there, had booked him a lap in a ring taxi as a gift, i've read here some think the taxis are a bit tame, our driver was a very nice Bavarian guy called Fritz who kicked the absolute shit out of the m5 from the word go, the track was totally empty, quiet an experience for us taking into account we've never been round it before.We saw every car from classic alfa's to current ferraris, also a pretty bad bike smash right outside the petrol station, guy on a ducati ran into the back of an e36 m3 hire car, biker was alive but a bit smashed up.Only saw one e46 csl, a grey one with a uk plate on it, can only imagine the attention you all got when there was a load of you together.

Sounds like you had a great time even though you didn't have the CSL....Imagine the ring taxis are pretty handy, after all thats all they do all day. Lucky buggers.

Watching that Vid that Mark posted of the scottish guys in the M5 the driver is so relaxed its unreal.

I find it easier to chase somebody on the track rather than be chased, and the Taxis know that.

Still cool watching it get hassled though :D

I can vouch for this, 3 lads running a train on a poor german guy certainly was a fantastic thing to see
