Selling a CSL - more hassle than its worth

Well the guy who was buying it pulled out at the 11th hour, got a text from another interested party we agreed a price (subject to viewing), he then had the cheek to text later in the day offering £1k less than we had agreed.

Note to all people trying to buy a CSL on the cheap:

"I do not need to sell my car so please do not offer ridiculous prices as i will not sell"

I am in two minds to put the price up next time someone haggles me down - that will confuse em

Think your right mate, i was really gutted i couldnt come to the Ring

Im just sick of the cheeky offers and then people looking round your car trying to pick fault with it. At the end of the day i still have a CSL and they dont

I might still buy a shitter to run round in for the winter and start saving for a brake upgrade

You can get some real cheap E30 325 on PH

SpineonaBap - he did ring me and we spoke for a good 15 minutes discxussing the car and we agreed a price and for him to give me a deposit. Only for him to text me 40 minutes later with a offer £1k less

Screw em, if you don't need to sell just tell them all to sod off until you get the offer you want. If we as owners all did that then prices will only stay strong.

Yeah, and don't discuss negotiations on a forum as they can read it. The seller is giving away 'tells' ;-)

Plus have you seen the prices lately...good Evo11 and Evo Sports..30k..wish I had kept mine now.

I reckon you should put the price up on your car...in fact I think everyone who's selling should put their prices up by 5k....that would really confuse the market.
