The front bumper of my CSL had some really badly applied Armourfend that was creased at the edges, which had sacrificed itself against some stonechips, sometimes tearing at the same time. The exposed paint gaps were still peppered with stone chips, including the paint area just ahead of the front wheel arches.
I'm bit of a stickler when it comes to having the car looking its best, so I had the Armourfend removed and found that the paint underneath was also badly stonechipped from the previous-previous owner before the Armourfend had been fitted.
So instead of dabbling with the stonechip repair kit

, I've decided to have the front bumper resprayed and the area just ahead of the front wheel arches also done to get rid of the irritating stone chips. Am also getting the front splitters re-lacquered, so hopefully the front end will look sparkly new again.
Pics to follow once I get her back, hopefully later this week!
