Service - Insp 1
Hi
I know servicing has been done to a death but i have rang the dealership up where i bought my CSL from (non BMW) but authorised Indy. They have said for a Inspection 1 = £300 Now i was expecting ~£700 and cant help but wonder what they are going to miss! Going to have a word with my local Sytner dealer in about an hour so will let you know Mark

Inspection I is half the price of Inspection II, you getting the two prices confused?
£300 is a decent rate by all means, but not silly cheap. |

1 and 2 should be fairly close together pricewise, because there isn't much difference (spark plugs and air filter being the main difference).
Both have the lots of labour due to the valve clearances being done etc. |

I am only being charged £575 for my Insp II at my local (ish) BMW dealer.
http://www.cslregister.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=298 Ring round the dealers, they are slashing prices at the moment to get the business in. Sales are down so they are trying to maintain some business on the servicing side. If your local dealer isn't the cheapest, just get them to price match.

Like he is going to notice that Si gets his car starting bitch to do the tedious bits, like unlock it, start it, set heater to "hot chocolate at bedtime " temp, then his warming up fluffer brings things up to temp, and only then does Si enter the car..... Gets all strapped in and comfy, looks in rear view mirror, gives a few "BMW driver" i am so cool squints and frowns Puts it in gear, tenses up .................. and puts it back in the garage Then whistles his car locking , garage door shutting Biatch to finish the job...
