Corrected the above as you have not taken into account how rare the black ones are. Not to mention they are also quicker. If you read your physics books you will know why black is so special.

That's due to the phase shift of the reflected light with increasing speed, you can only ever see them black if they're stationary and they look grey if they're going fast.

Mine always looks white.

Don't know, but I'm just about to renew my insurance & I'm going to ask for an agreed value of 36k.

I don't have supersprint

Wow, strong money. If the 75k car sold for £33k what's wrong with the 68k'er that's been for sale at £29,999 for a few months?

What does that make my 39k'er worth!

IMHO mileage is less important it's all about Cecils overall condition and how good & comprehensive it's service history is
Back in 2009 (seem so long ago now) when I was on my Cecil hunt, I walked away disappointed from a 40K miler @ the Main Stealers that turned out to be a shiny turd with patchy history & heavily abused, despite it's appealing low mileage
After nearly 5 years of ownership I'm still happy to report I bought my 68K mile beauty that had (and still has) impeccable FBMWSH (carried out on time and as per recommended schedule) and has been loved by enthusiastic previous owners, 3 of whom are CSLR members
