Default CSL keyring dimensions and photos

Okay, I have been thinking about making a replica keyring (or a veriation of it in carbon) for myself ... I have actually already made the carbon insert, but I sort of need the dimensions and what the back of the keyring looks like. Would anyone here with one be so kind as to snap a few photos of the front and back of it and perhaps provide some overall dimensions, thickness and the size of the "M3 CSL" insignia for me perhaps?? Thank you : )

Watch the market get flooded soon

You could borrow mine for the weekend... however I've never been fortunate enough to get my hands on one (yet)

Hi Tom.

The keyring shape (as also on the E46 M3 keyring) resemble the front fender grilles shape.

Here we go.

The thickness is 4mm.

The main issue of the CSL keyring is the weight.
It is too heavy, unlike the rest of the car.

What are you considering doing ?
I would love a CSL keyring replica made of aluminium.
I have a friend that designs and produces various cnc-machined parts (top mounts etc).
Should I ask him to design it in CAD and then we could produce some of them which would be superlight ?

I'd love one of these. Would it possible to make it aluminium with some kind of carbon inlay?

It is not aluminium but some iron alloy (soft).

Alternatively, skip the desert course or have a good shit before your hot lap ?

to be honest I like a nice heavy keyring, makes it feel high quality rather than potentially flimsy/cheap
