Hi SMD,
I go from Ireland and usuall take the ferry from Dublin to Hollyhead, drive across to Hull and then take the overnight ferry to Rotterdam.
The Hull-Rotterdam ferry leaves anout 10pm and arrives 8am the following morning, in which case youd be at the ring by lunchtime, easy peasy.
See if there is a Thursday pm ferry !
