Can you use them all year round it you drive with care. When I test drove my first CSL in was November and wet and the car had Cups on. It felt OK and Edward Lovett (Dick Lovett) didn't half give it some.

Yet!!! I have them on all year round. Don't do much mileage in the Winter, which might explain why. Snow last March in Germany was fun.

The worst weather I drove in was on the way back from Llandow at night in the pissing rain and the M4 had standing water on some parts but I was still going along at the speed limit (or thereabouts... ) and had no problem with any aquaplaning or feeling like it was going to get out of control. As long as you are smooth with the throttle you will/should be fine...

Same as the Yoko A048's that I had on my Lotus Exiges...people were always asking if they were lethal in the wet but you just drive to the conditions...I never had an issue with them.

Makes complete sense, just drive according the the conditions. ie your tyres and weather.

I drive like a pussy in the wet/winter, so once Im on Cups, that'll prob be me forever Couldnt justify additional tyres for 4months (winter) / 500miles.
