Customer dropped a nice cl55 amg off at my house today. He just about made it. I've got the joy of rwd, v8 supercharged, 285 rear tyres, 500bhp to get to work in, in the morning.
Will be fun getting it even off the drive at 7am. |

Bloody typical, waited 5 weeks with the e90 on Winters for snow to try them out and stop all them anti-RWD fool going on about how shit our cars are in the snow and it snows the week I come away. Trying to persuade the Mrs to take it out is difficult when she has a perfectly good Golf on Goodyear winter tyres. Ah we'll, maybe it'll still be snowing middle of feb, it is Northern Ireland I live in.

The snow always presents a problem with RWD cars, however and more to the point, it's not always the snow that catches you out but what it's covering. Spillages in particular Diesel, hit a patch of what you thing is just snow and your off in any direction, absolutely no control of anything. Personal experience 'Vader' RIP.

I think a RWD car on the snow is always fun !
Surely it's not fun for the other drivers seeing you sideways all the time I just love snow ! On skis or in BMWs with LSDs |

The battery in the Skoda snotter was properly dead, so I popped down to A1 autostores to get a replacement.
The chap behind the counter double-took when he saw the CSL outside his shop, he'd never seen one in the flesh before. No other customers so he had a good look round and took some photos. Sadly no discount though.... |

Some Englanders are allergic to this stuff and the concept of Winter tyres goes right over their heads
