£45 s very cheap

I've watched Lepsons do mine and it is around £20 of materials (paint) and nearly 3 man/hours to strip and Refurb

Lepsons are OK / good, but once-upon-a-time ( I think it might have been you Rob?) there was a link to a write-up on a place by an M5 owner who had some Shadow Chrome wheels done. The end result was simply stunning.

maybe 20 quid retail value, but trade values will be less and on top of that they are operating using economies of scale.

magnesium is 45 quid and for the normal 19" oem chrome m3 alloy it was 35 quid! i think bmw were charging circa 100 quid per rim (cant really remember, might be more). just shows you how much they've got in it.
