Yea, was going to say!

Can't have ALL 4 wheels to the left of that line, that be cheating! CoCs always mention this in driver briefings. Did anyone get picked up on this over the weekend in CSL Cup ?

Waste of time complaining. I got hauled up to the clerk of the course after qualifying because I went wide at Sears, all 4 wheels over the white line. I wasn't aware that was an issue as it wasn't last year, but anyway the CoC threatened to disqualify me (as I qualified 2nd that wouldn't have been great). He let me off with a verbal warning. A few hours later he came to speak to all the CSL Cup drivers and re-iterated this, however in the 2nd race the day after, I've got video footage of drivers in front of me doing exactly that - all 4 wheels way past the white line. As I'd been bollocked I kept 2 wheels inside the white line but that impacts your speed on the back straight, so I was losing out I felt. Anyway, I went to ask the CoC after the race and as the marshalls hadn't said anything there was nothing he would do, even with my video evidence.

I hate inconsistencies in rulings like this

They said on the trackday last week they were tightening up on over shooting at Sears ,

Fair dues to Thorney he came into the chicane at Russell like he was driving a tractor and lucky to miss the bollards, he ran across on to the grass far side and then pulled up near Riches. Trackrod ends fooked. E92 looked and sounded ace but in obvious need of another running in session or some tinkering before it's first real race.

All in the Blue book Steve - new guidelines came in for this year. Marshalls report................I wonder how some marshalls dress themselves in the morning TBH.

We are getting the same pre-race drivers breifing at every meeting, I think that it will happen at all meetings in 2010 to make sure everyone knows that 4 wheels off the circuit is no longer fair. There is definately an advantage to be made onto the back straight at Snet. The only way to have the C of C take notice of the in-car video would have been to make an official complaint with the appropiate fee, within 30 mins of the provisional results being declared - that way he would have had to take your in-car evidence into account. I suspect he just couldn't be arsed unless he had to. If there are drivers who continue to go off track to make an advantage at every race and somehow seem to get away with it - I'm sure a quite word with the C of C before the race to highlight the offender would do the trick
