Was not able to get an answer from ML in time, but in the end I decided to stay with Classicline, and it became no longer necessary to get an independent valuation .
Classicline will do their own valuation for a fee of £20, you just have to send in photos and fill out a form regarding condition. I proposed a price based on Hexagon adds minus a few £££ for reality, which they accepted. I find the offer I got from then very fair. They will also consider independent valuations. So if you know a local dealer who will do it for free, may as well save the 20 bucks, otherwise their valuations bloke seem pretty fair. If you don't do a valuation, they atleast value the car at what you paid for it (which is better than most companies who seem to devalue automatically). |
