Nath Shim, you talk of 8317R and 2317R , one and the same?? Might go and get myself one of these very local ! Winter deadened the oem one, still works though, and tell me what type of trickle charger is it you use, is it this one ? CTEK Multi XS7000 12v battery charger

I got the CTEK XS800 Dunc and it works very well.
