i will get off ferry at about 7am Sat morning but i think it makes sense for me to travel straight to Groningen otherwise its loads of extra miles.

Shim the extra miles are no problem. Your csl is as new with all the warranty work!!

1. hook to Groningen is only 2 hours and 250km, going to Ring adds 550km and 5.5 hours driving

2. im trying to keep the miles down to keep value up

We have tech support available on our trackdays by the way.
And finally, we might have some other interesting trackdays on our agenda for you guys, like Bilster Berg and Zandvoort in one weekend, weekends at Ascari (possibly combined with days at Portimao) or consecutive trackdays on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, so if you like these days, I'm sure it would be possible to set something like this up more often.
