I would take a weighbridge reading with a pinch of salt.
A couple of years ago I tried to find out about calibration and accuracy of these. The nearest thing I could find was that the rounding, usually 10 or 20kg, was referred to as a "division" and that the weighbridge is within 3 divisions. For HGV's they allow +\-50kg before taking you off the road. Can be +\-150kg if one axle weighed at a time. I'll add I'm no expert, but I fitted the cage... It's not filled with lead, honest! |
