Default Anyone used AL Tuning for their CSL

Hi guys,

My brother and i are very close to buying our CSL and we have KW V3's ready to go on. Being in W London area I was thinking of taking my car to ALtuning for the suspension fitting as well as a general check up as they are linked with CA automotive (who are well known) and i have also seen their videos of CSL conversion airbox's they have done so thought they would know what they are doing.

I wanted to ask who here had used them and what they thought because after doing a search i came across some very alarming posts regarding them. Apparently they diagnosed a CSL with a vanos failure, billed the guy 6k, told him he had a new vanos but instead they just painted the vanos and put on a remap to make it over fuel or something to mask the problem. They used AAT, apparantly he is the brother of the guy that owns altuning and does all their mapping as well.

Misdiagnosing things that have just been chanegd recently to mak money off customers that don't know much about mechanics!!

whats also shocking is they are accused of using what looks like a semi synthetic 10w40 oil in an E46 M3!!! The owner has put up lab results of the oil in his engine as well as a sample of new TWS that he sent to the lab!! This last thread was removed for some reason, it had the scanned documents of the report which showed clearly the difference between the 2 oils, vicosity at 40degC and addiives packages!
