Entry level racing!

I have ben helping some of the OPL.co.uk guys with the two cars they are runing in the new MSV TRackday Trophy series since March.

It has got me thinking!!!

Group A is 200bhp/tonne. This includes lightest driver weighed at the end of the race so inc remaining fuel and bhp measured at the wheels)

So if you take my car with me in it and 1/4 tank fuel = 1440 kg, add cage, extinguisher, cut outs essentials it will be say 1500kg

i dont know the power at the wheels but lets say 360 bhp translates to 300bhp at the wheels

300/1500 = 200bhp/tonne

now at Snett fastest car was doing mid 1m24s - in qualifying, i ran a mid 1m19s, 30 laps v 5 secs = lapped the field!

Is there much prize money!!!???
