Lightbulb Clutch slurrrrr revisited

Having had my clutch slur diagnosed as a worn clutch plate (way below minimum limits) i took it upon myself to replace the whole clutch! pretty straight forward other than the spigott bearing not wanting to release, after removing said clutch i was most surprised to find it was 1.2 mm thinner than the new clutch plate being 8.35mm not fitted, I went ahead and fitted the new clutch and programmed the bite point and fook me what a revalation it now engages drive better than i could have hoped for!
Uppon inspection i noticed that the original pressure plate and flywheel still had radial machine marks on the friction faces! could this mean that the clutch has to run/bed in in a specific way, i have driven this car for 5k on and off the track and i like my throttle?
