Brakes!?

This is my first post on here so first I'll say Hi to everyone!!

I'm hoping to be in the market for a CSL in the next 6 months or so, havent driven one yet though, and have been looking at the cars currently available.

I've already Registered with another Forum, and asked lots of questions on there.

One thing people seen kean on is AP brakes. I know AP are good brakes but has anybody fitted, or thinking of fitting anything else?

The reason I ask is that I know of a guy who has RS6/Gallardo 8 Pots on the Front of his car and Boxster S front Calipers on the rear. I know one of his friends through him working at a Porsche Specialist I used to use and he says the car stops on a 5pence. Somebody posted on the mtorque and they were about to fit the same set-up. Coming from a 964RS I am used to good brakes and this will be one of the first things I change if need be.
