Default Advice please

Hi folks sorry I've been very quite recently I've just been up to my eyeballs at work and haven't been as involved as I like to be.

I have two quick questions that I'm sure someone here could help with.

1. A collegue of mine was dring into to work late last week in his e46 320d (04) when he hit a large pothole at considerable speed. Which caused 2 airbags to inflate !! Upon further inspection in the work carpark he has also noticed that the chrome ring around the lense (passenger headlight) has come unstuck. Having attempting to disassemble said headlight he has come to the conclusion that he will have to remove the front bumper in order to remove headlight as he cant see a way of disconnecting the water spray mechanism! The front light and indicator is an all in one piece which I was surprised at as in the CSL they are seperate.
Has anyone had to remove the headlamp assembly on perhaps a previously owned car?

2. I have just received a quote from BMW in Ireland for an inspection II service using Castrol edge oil and replacing the rear pads E1,680!! Any fellow Irish CSL owners have similar quotes, the thing is I know the owner of this garage previously owned a CSL so they should know what their talking about. Anyway any figures or comparisons appreciated.

Thanks again as always.
