Alcon CSL Cup Full Big Brake Kit
Okay Guys, a rare opportunity to buy a full front and rear Alcon CSL Cup big brake kit.
These rarely come up for sale, I’ve not seen any advertised in the last couple of years, the last set I saw sold the same day. I purchased these from a forum member in 2013 to fit to my CSL prior to the anniversary trip to Germany. My work situation changed and I was unable to attend so the brakes remained in the box, which is where they’ve stayed ’til this day. I bought the kit as very lightly used with less than a thousand miles on them. The only use they’ve seen with me is a quick clean of the calipers, a polish and a wax. As they are used I won’t describe them as mint or perfect but I can say they are in excellent condition with minimal marking to the calipers. The discs are showing some surface rust but nothing further and with the majority of their life ahead of them. The same with the pads showing even wear with a thickness of 9mm. Co-developed with Alcon and Thorney Motorsport as the ultimate brakes to be made for the M3 CSL, some information and breakdown of the spec from the Thorney website: Larger front dial - 365mm (AP has 355mm) Larger rear disk - 343mm (AP has standard solid rear disk) Monobloc caliper - stiffer, less flex, less deflection (AP has twin block) 6 pot front and 4 pot rear. Rear disc has separate bell and much larger size for better heat dissipation Full floating set up front, semi floating rear Goodridge Braided hoses Any questions please ask and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. More photos available on request. Priced to sell at £3,000 Located in Manchester England and available for immediate collection only. I’m having problems uploading to the site so have created an online album. Link to photos below https://photos.app.goo.gl/PCreF9C8ZNFfWeyW8
