However, I would say that the value increase is a double-edged sword. I originally bought mine to use as BMW intended, but with the massive increase in value over the last five+ years, it has made me extremely selective on the events it gets used for, where when I first got it (before the values rocketed), I was happy to take it anywhere and everywhere

I almost wish the values WOULD come back down, so that I'm not so precious about the mileage added to it
