Yep, ridiculous to use bolt-ons on any quick car, let alone one thats the best part of 2 tonnes and heading for the track. That said, can it EVER be a good idea to bolt direct to an ali spacer thats just a few mm thick???? Beyond belief that they appeared on the GT-R, the OP had a lucky escape there!
There are people out there that are of the opinion, if its sold its got to be safe
