I just did do a quick google and there are some positive reviews, most of which seems to be pub talk with no real science behind peoples opinions but then I came across this...I'm sticking to TWS

Most people are aware of my recent build on here and that my car is no stranger to dyno work! Well, I decided to use Lubro-Moly after reading threads like this, not only because it was cheaper...but because performance seemed at least on par w/the factory stuff, if not even a little better.
During the course of dynoing, and even driving around on the street, we noticed that the oil temps seemed somewhat elevated vs. before the build. No problem, we just wrote if off to the top-end of the motor being a little tight??? We noticed it even more when dynoing, temps were always over 210*+ on the dyno where previoulsy they were usually either right at or slightly under 210*. For sh!ts & giggles, I went back to the TWS oil, and we did another round of dyno testing. Guess what??? Power was pretty much identical, but the engine oil temp was noticebly cooler, never going over 210*...same as before. (Dyno weather conditions were identical!) I can't say whether the temps. were 10*, 20*, or 30* cooler, because we were relying on the factory temp gauge, but I can say without a doubt, that the engine oil temps were cooler with the TWS!
So, what does this prove??? Absolutely nothing, because we were relying on the factory temp gauge, and didn't verify w/any independent equipment. But I will say this, I'm the last guy to stand here waiving a flag saying that you should only run TWS oil because that's what the BMW engineers called for...but I also now know which oil I will be using in my engine in the future.
Again, this totally unscientific test proves absolutely nothing and your results may vary, as mine did from the OP's...so use whichever oil you like. I know what my car prefers and what I'll be using in my personal vehicle!
