I'd say 6,000-7,000 out of rears if you really try hard, but more out of the fronts.
It was the rears that always cost me. One set was 1500 miles but it did include a LOT of road drifting.
I was expecting that as well but I find trackdays are wearing the fronts faster. Normal road driving wear seems much more even wear, front to rear but as soon as I hit a track, especially tracks with a seriously long, fast corner with high entry speeds like Mallory (1st corner), Snetterton (long right before chicane), Spa (double left hand down hill) the fronts get hammered. Probably got a lot to do with driving style. I've always tended to lean very heavily on the fronts on the way into corners keeping everything very much in line on the way out on the power.

That seems to be backed up by my tyre wear patterns. I had problems wearing the outside edges of my fronts quicker than the inside, even with nearly 2 deg negative camber. I now run 2.5 for track and get almost perfect even wear across the fronts.

Last October, I arrived at Snetterton with absolutely mullered fronts. They'd gone on the same time as the rears which were maybe just 2/3rds worn. I had new fronts that morning and I've only just changed the rears in the last week after a Ring trip, in November and Oulton Park trackday, in November.

My conclusion is that I don't get anywhere near enough tail out exiting corners. Something inside me knows it's slower and won't let me do it. I think I must be
