You sound like a sensible chap, don't think you'll go far wrong with the car.

Been mentioned above in part but keep an eye on rear springs(they snap), RTAB(they tear, use Turner limiter kits or poly), 'rear subframe cracks' obviously not the subframe), air box potentiometer/flap (stops working annually, take the flap out), clutch slur (get it retaught asap), and finally when at the ring watch out for DuncanR(knob), Glendog(arse), Matt(camera) and Dan(although he'll probably ignore you
