Default Re-instating warranty

Quick question: Since I stopped using the CSL as a daily car quite some time ago, I haven't needed to have it serviced for a while. Last service was end of 2006 at 21,000 miles it was an inspection 1, the next one due is only an oil change. It now has almost 28,000 so not needed a service. The book advises of an engine oil change every 2 years as it can age. I've got AP's do the brake fluid is done by me, but they don't warranty the brakes anyway - so who gives a toss.

Technically the car still has FBMWSH - so I ought to be able to get the extended warranty?

I did an interim oil change myself in 2008, but I've been advised not to mention that as I'm not a "qualified BMW engineer" and they would not allow me to take out the extended warranty. Lets say I could produce an invoice from a VAT registered garage for the oil change using genuine BMW parts, would this help my case or do they only entertain cars that have been to BMW - I could always forget to tell them about that bit?

Any advice - what should I tell them? By the way - they record their calls.
