Feel for you there too, had it myself once before on a Porsche RS trackday, went to start car up day before and it wouldn't, basically engine decided it was going to fail and shut it self down, no signs of it beforehand.
It's a real downer as you are on a high with the expected excitement of the TD.

Hope your wait for a new bumper isn't like mine for some of the parts I have ordered in the past. Also hope the cost is covered on your insurance!
