castrol srf brake fluid has the best (highest wet boiling point) which elongates life and increases strength of the brake fluid - it costs me about $80 a bottle - which is pricey - but i have bled my brakes often the past 3 years and have yet to need to flush - average about 20 track days per season. get a set of stainless steer brake lines - will tighten up the brake pedal and you won't experience brake fade. brake pad choice is definitely a personal preference. i run performance friction composite brake pads - 06 type (the number indicates the year they were designed - 97,01,06 - 97 are the strongest initial bite - but the worse on rotors, 01 is a good blend - but they die quickly - 06 are the best of them all!) i never got into the pagids. |
