i have a couple of quirys tho. done a search and can't really fine the answers.

my cars currently running 225/40/19 front tyres and 255/35/19 rears. anybody had experience with this set-up? i know its not the standard size, what is?
also planning a few trackdays/ring trips and gonna get my moneys worth out of the standard brakes before i upgrade. what pads are best to run?
suggest getting a set of 18 - will increase ride comfort, increase your savings w/tires, allow you to run a square set up (same in front and rear) - which will elongate your lifespan of tires. bmw built in understeer into their cars - so we wouldn't have any widow makers like 911s of yesteryear. a square set up will create better turn in as well.

castrol srf brake fluid has the best (highest wet boiling point) which elongates life and increases strength of the brake fluid - it costs me about $80 a bottle - which is pricey - but i have bled my brakes often the past 3 years and have yet to need to flush - average about 20 track days per season.

get a set of stainless steer brake lines - will tighten up the brake pedal and you won't experience brake fade.

brake pad choice is definitely a personal preference. i run performance friction composite brake pads - 06 type (the number indicates the year they were designed - 97,01,06 - 97 are the strongest initial bite - but the worse on rotors, 01 is a good blend - but they die quickly - 06 are the best of them all!) i never got into the pagids.
