KAAABOOOM! Hell of a bang and a smell like a shotgun just went off! Crazy. All as I was accelerating hard through 3rd gear. The fucking thin windscreen pillar trim piece with "AIRBAG" written on it smacked me in the head. I think I've got GABRIA stamped on my forehead.

I've got Intrax on the car, so guess BMW will say the same. I have a good dealer but they know full well it's after market suspension and I haven't got time to mess about putting OEM back on. Have Ring and Spa next weekend.

Popped the old girl over to Simpson's this afternoon and thanks to Julian and Joe..........actually, just Joe (he did all the work ). New airbag in, GT1 plugged and all fault codes rowed up for airbag deployment cleared.

Quick geo and suspension/steering check and all OK. Ready for Ring/Spa this weekend.

No thanks to Anthony who's on holiday this week but took the trouble to just laugh at me, from afar.
