Unless the bloke is loaded and just doesn't give a shit about money then he will have had to claim on his insurance for a pay out, it's obviously a write off so a loss adjuster/engineer WILL have been and inspected it therefore it will have been recorded by the insurance company...

HaHa I used to loved looking through the autotrader years ago, and in the salvage section...

Slight nearside damage .. (Car looking like its been hit by 14 trucks, and a tarmac roller)
or the other one that made me smile.... Lovely pre accident condition !! WTF
