I've just started using it everyday. My drive is also really short, only about 4 miles. Not that much of a hassle at all really; just got to treat it nice till the engine warms up (which it doesnt by the end of the drive), and watch out for the seats when going in/out. I am running Eagle F1's so cant comment about cups in winter...
Only other annoying this as a DD is the SMG in auto mode, it never does what I would like it to do. |

Good news then guys, I wondered if it would clog it up so to speak but I guess CSL's are a little more sophisticated than that!
Glad others are in the same boat with short journeys, my current M3 doesn't heat up by the time i've got to work! Good news is that it shouldn't be far away so can't wait! |

Just because others on here use there cars for short journeys does not mean thats its good for the car. Most of the cars we see in our garage with problems are cars that potter about and most journeys are below 4-5 miles. Short stop start journeys are killers for any car, a csl will be no different. TBH though I would not worry, just dont drive it hard until oil is warmed up, so if you only use it for short journeys and thats it, the csl is probably not the car for you, however if you intend to use the car as it should be used then you will love the csl. |
