Default Crail, today 4th October

I know its very late notice for most people, but there's a few of us heading up that way today in a couple of M3's from another Forum. Just incase some of the local (Dundee, Fife, Edinburgh) boys were bored and looking for a reason for a run out.

Crail Raceway

Will post up some photos later if I take any decent ones of course.

It's a Fast Ford day so might be some rare machinery out on show too

Was a good enough day, weather was good which is unusual for us Scottish, especially in October.

Took a couple of Runs up the 1/4 Mile. 13.5 was my best time, out of only 3 right enough. Stuff the 1st one up using the Launch Control. Did the 2nd and 3rd myself, 2nd started lifting off as I got onto 120 as could hear something loose but didn't find anything. 3rd, I was starting to get the hang of it, couldn't be bothered waiting in the huge queue for more runs though.

I took a few videos on my BB but they're not good enough to put online. In fact, they're pretty sh1te when I look at them again.

I'm hoping some photos will appear online somewhere eventually.

Andy Gallacher was there in a Focus, getting just above 10's but apparently can get in the 9's!

Nothing too exotic though, couple of Go-Karts, a few bikes, one M3 (ME!) and the usual V-Tech Stuff, loads of Fords with it being a Fast Ford day.

Some nice Mk2 Escorts going up, tons of Focus RS's and ST's, didn't see any new RS's though.

Derek popped up while I was out on the strip, but by the time I come off he was away again.

That AG machine is a bloody weapon and a half isn't it? I would have loved to have seen that go down the track.

Your 13.5 isn't to shabby either, what terminal speed did you get????
