Anyone do it?
I wouldnt bother on trackdays etc, but would it be a worthwhile thing to master for racing where every 10th counts? |

Personal preference, but I had (thanks to Nathan) a new wheel and spacer which brought the steering wheel closer to me, and also put spacers on the rack(?) to move the wheel down further, allowing me to sit further back making it far easier for left foot braking. I also bought an e46 330 automatic brake pedal which swaps out for the existing pedal, making it easier again. |

mmm, good point, I hadn't considered the mid corner options, I was thinking more along the lines that you could instantly go from throttle to brake with no pause, I assumed this would be where the time would be gained.
Suppose it could also be used to kill understeer if need be. |

only ever left foot brake since i had the csl and race m3, once you get the hang of it its slight advantage no time gap from throttle to brake easy to trail brake into the apex and if you are running wide on the exit don't lift off the gas just a light touch on the brake to bring back on line

I think you get the hang of left foot braking quite quickly when you're just driving along. However, I still have this insatiable habit of trying to mash the brake pedal into the carpet just before the car comes to a stop. It certainly wakes your passengers up! I guess that's what happens if you also use a car with a conventional clutch.

Esssential for a big heavy car like the CSL, makes a huge difference allowing you to alter the attitude of a car.
