Maybe its Service History is patchy / poor and it's in need of robust TLC

Back in 2009 (seem so long ago now) when I was on my Cecil hunt, I walked away disappointed from a 40K miler @ the Main Stealers that turned out to be a shiny turd with patchy history & heavily abused, despite it's appealing low mileage
After nearly 5 years of ownership I'm still happy to report I bought my 68K mile beauty that had (and still has) impeccable FBMWSH (carried out on time and as per recommended schedule) and has been loved by enthusiastic previous owners, 3 of whom are CSLR members
Exactly. I walked away from 2 stealers & two private sales before buying my Cesil 8 years ago.
There is also the condition of the tyres, which, service is due, etc. these points alone can add up to over 2k without trying

Yep agree history is important above anything. Ive had mine 4 years now bought it over one with 12k miles less because of that reason.

Mines got full service history, on time etc. Running in service on time. Paperwork going back almost from new. Even have photos of the first owner the week they collected. Private plate on since new. Recently had new rear diff under warranty and service at Notts BMW. Clean bill of health. New pads fitted to AP's and SS Michelins with plenty of life left.

Reason I was asking it looks like mine will have to go around christmas time due to change in job. Cant justify keeping this and GT3..so I think CSL will go. May regret that one.
