considering the other rare BMWs he had in his garage then he is not spoilt for choice of epic drives. I doubt he gets the time to drive them much.

Das,

Did the person in question have an 'as new' E30 tucked away in his garage as well?

If so, it might be the CSL that I viewed back in 2009. It was mint with exception to minor scratches on the airbox. However, it had issues with the paperwork so walked away.

Kindest,

J.

Hi Das,

Just as an update, I have actually spoken with the owner of the CSL in question which was up for sale in 2009 and incidentally he still has. He mentioned that my last comment could be taken out of context and indeed that the paperwork query I raised when looking at the car was resolved afterwards.

I promised I would post this update to set the record straight, especially as this is a small community.

Rest assured though, I spent over a year looking at 20 or so CSL's and this was certainly one of the best and with only 9K miles at the time. If it ever does come on the market again then form an orderly queue!

Kindest,

Jonathan.

I would be concerned with such low mileage cars.
BMWs that are not driven develop quite a few issues.

If bought just to resale in the future, then it makes sense.
